These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of beitelahlam.com (the "Site") and any purchases made through it. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site.

USING OUR SITE

You agree to use the Site lawfully and in good faith. You must not:

- Use the Site in any way that breaches applicable law
- Attempt unauthorised access to the Site or its systems
- Transmit harmful code, viruses, or unlawful content
- Misrepresent your identity when placing an order
- Use the Site for fraudulent purposes

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we suspect fraud or breach of these Terms.

ORDERS

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We confirm receipt of your order by email, but this confirmation does not form a contract. A contract is formed only when we accept your order and begin production.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order:

- If a product is incorrectly described or priced (we will notify you and offer a refund or alternative)
- If we cannot meet your event date with reasonable notice
- If we suspect fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms

PRICING

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. We make every effort to ensure prices are accurate, but errors can occur. If a pricing error is identified, we will contact you before processing the order and give you the option to confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

PERSONALISATION AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Each favour is personalised based on the details you provide when ordering, including printed messages, event dates, and design choices. You are responsible for:

- Ensuring all details you submit are accurate, spelled correctly, and as you intend
- Reviewing your order summary carefully before payment
- Notifying us of any errors within 24 hours of placing your order, before production begins

We are not responsible for errors in personalisation that originated in the details you submitted. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.

PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY

We require a minimum of 7 days from order to delivery, and recommend 4 weeks for larger or more complex orders. Production begins shortly after we confirm your order. Delivery is handled by trusted couriers. Please see our Shipping Policy for full details.

PAYMENT

Payment is taken in full at the time of order through Shopify's secure checkout. We accept all major debit and credit cards, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay where available. We do not store full card details.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Site — including the brand name "Beit el Ahlam", the logo, product designs, photography, text, and overall site design — is the property of Beit el Ahlam or our licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, copy, or use any of this content without our written permission.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
- Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount paid for that order
- Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law

FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations where caused by events outside our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, courier strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions. Where reasonably possible, we will work with you to find an alternative or arrange a refund.

GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the date of last update at the bottom. Significant changes will be communicated to customers where appropriate.
